Bill Egbert, President
Bill has over 34 years of experience within the propane industry with a focus on training and development. As the former General Manager of the Propane Training Institute, Bill has extensive experience in developing courseware and systems related to the safe handling of fuels. Bill also has extensive experience as a skilled facilitator in such topics as process quality improvement, customer service, and administrative processes and procedures. Bill has also written articles for Propane Canada Magazine related to soft-skills, such as Employee Engagement.
Our Services
Training Courses – Safe Handling, Storage and Transportation of Fuels
The Fuels Learning Centre develops training courses and support materials on a number of topics related to the safe handling, storage and transportation of propane, fuel oil, natural gas and LNG. Our training courses are made available to our certified Instructors, who are subject matter experts in the courses they deliver. Our Instructors guide students through the curriculum, utilizing a suite of support materials, to ensure students can successfully complete both a written exam and practical Skills Evaluation. Successful students are issued a Record of Training (ROT) certificate recognized by regulatory authorities.
Knowledge Base Library and Newsletters
Our Knowledge Base Library contains articles and links related to regulatory requirements and operations affecting the propane, fuel oil and natural gas industries. Our regular Newsletters deliver current and topical information right to your email inbox.
Custom Training Programs
The Fuels Learning Centre can work with your organization to develop customized training solutions not offered in our regular library of courseware.
