On February 25, 2017, the British Columbia Safety Authority (BCSA) issued the first revision to Information Bulletin IB-GA 2013-01 (Rev. 01) entitled “Pipe Sizing and Pressure Drop Requirements”.
This revised bulletin clarifies the requirement that when a conflict arises between the manufacturer’s installation instructions and the B149.1 Natural Gas & Propane Installation Code, the code requirements prevail unless otherwise approved.
